StaffSecurity

StafZecurity is our concept in which the advice for a certification process is modular and is based on the blueprint material we developed. You therefore quickly achieve the certification level and also have low certification costs.

Depending on the theme, the knowledge present within the company and the time that can be freed up for the implementation of a certification theme, a project is put together. For each step toward certification, the company can choose from 4 support options, namely: 1. Independent work; 1. Remote homework support; 3. On-site instructional visit; 4. Customized support (completely taken off your hands).

The Dienstencentrum's consultants develop all blueprint documents and are part of the external audit program each year and are therefore closely involved in your certification process. This also makes the Dienstencentrum an extension of your KAM officer. If you have a different in-house advisor, we will need to get acquainted and assess whether your own in-house advisor can become part of the Staff Safety Concept.

Group Certification

Yes, group certificates are full-fledged and industry-recognized certificates. All companies that are part of a group certificate must comply with the international standard (e.g. ISO 9001:2015) just like any other certified company.

The certifying body certifies and reviews each certification track annually. Each certification process consists of 2 parts, namely: 1. The office audit of the group manager. The Dienstencentrum acts as group manager and is assessed by the certification body on the assurance of the certification process such as the execution of internal audits and the assurance of all outstanding shortcomings. 2. Multiple sample audits are conducted at different group members. Based on the results of the office audit and the random sample audits of group members, the certification institute determines whether the certification requirements are met. The 'IAF Mandatory Document for the audit and certification of a Management System Operated by a MultiSite Organization' is used for the assessment and determination of the spot checks.

The frequency of audits depends on a number of factors. 2 categories are distinguished: Group members for companies under 25 FTE (excluding FSC, where a maximum of 15 FTE applies) and SMEs with sizes from 26 to 100 FTE (with the exception of FSC, where counting starts from 15 FTE). Group members are sampled based on the root of the number of group members (as per IAF standards), so the frequency depends on the number of group members. Newly joined group members are visited by the certification institute the following year. If a company possesses multiple certificates, it is more likely that a spot check will take place. SME companies are visited annually by the certification institute. These audits are prepared by the group manager with the external auditor. During the company visit, the external auditor focuses mainly on the assessment of practice.

The Dienstencentrum's blueprint material is part of the company's Management System and itself has an established role in the continuation of group certification. The Dienstencentrum 'guarantees', so to speak, the quality of all group certificates issued. In order to guarantee quality, group rules have been drawn up that define the powers of the Dienstencentrum as group manager to ensure that all group members meet the standard. We cannot guarantee this when a company conducts its own internal audits and the Dienstencentrum is not involved in conducting internal audits.

In January, the samples are determined by the certification institute and communicated to the group manager. The group manager then informs all companies that are going to be randomly sampled and the certification institute contacts them to schedule the sampling. Thus, a sample is always announced.

Yes. The performance of external audits, and in this case sample audits, are part of a certification process. Every certified company is therefore obliged to cooperate with sample audits. This is laid down in the group rules. If a company does not cooperate with the execution of a random audit, the Dienstencentrum can (temporarily) suspend a company in accordance with the group rules or a Dienstencentrum advisor is called in to chair the audit and supervise the external random audit.

FSC®

Every company that owns a product or part of a product and wants to sell that product as FSC certified must be FSC certified. This involves mentioning the abbreviation FSC®, the name Forest Stewardship Council® and the use of the FSC label on the sales invoice. This also applies to such mentions on the website, on newsletters, etc. For more information on FSC, please visit https://nl.fsc.org/nl-nl.

No, the FSC logo may only be used by FSC certified companies. However, there are situations where there is an FSC logo on a product that is resold. This is the producer's FSC logo, where the product is traceable through the FSC license number in the FSC logo. For example, blank envelopes often contain the manufacturer's FSC logo, but as a printer, the envelope is printed and resold. The in-house box of envelopes may then not bear FSC data when resold. Moreover, in such a situation, the product leads to the manufacturer and not the selling party. Intermediaries, among others, therefore often choose to have their own FSC certificate in order to be allowed to mention their own FSC data.
