Our approach
In response to requests from our customers, we have developed a simplified version of ClimateCalc: the Basic edition. With ClimateCalc Basic, you can easily get started with CO₂ footprint calculations and help your customers demonstrate their commitment to sustainability through their use of paper. Once certified, you can advise your customers on alternatives. In addition, you can offer your individual customers the option to offset (neutralize) the CO₂ footprint of their order.

ClimateCalc allows you to compare different types of paper and different substrates. For example, you can compare printing on paper versus plastic, wood, or metal. The system is integrated with Dataline’s MultiPress, among other solutions.
Enter
We will provide you with the necessary materials in draft form, access to the Help Desk, and other support resources. You will work with your advisor to develop and implement the tool. How you choose to receive support is entirely up to you. You can opt to handle as much as possible on your own, or you can choose more customized support and faster turnaround.
Maintain
Once ClimateCalc has been set up, it is important to keep it up to date. Regular maintenance is essential. You complete the data entry process by performing an internal check to ensure the carbon footprint calculation is complete.
Conducting audit
Conducting regular internal audits is an essential part of ClimateCalc. This allows us to assess how your system is performing and identify areas for improvement in a timely manner. Organizing internal audits is the best first step toward certification.
Certify
The ClimateCalc certificate is mandatory! This ensures that there is no unfair competition regarding CO₂ calculations. You obtain the certificate after passing an external audit conducted by a certifying body.
