De Rijksoverheid vervult een voorbeeldfunctie ten aanzien van Duurzaam Ondernemen. Vandaar dat zij de opdracht heeft al haar aanbestedingen duurzaam in te kopen. De overheid noemt dat Maatschappelijk Verantwoord Inkopen.
The government purchases about 60 billion euros a year, and thus has an important environmental and social impact, here but also in other countries. Socially Responsible Purchasing is a powerful tool to achieve important sustainability goals.
These environmental criteria are not laws or regulations but are intended as a tool for sustainable purchasing. With an SRP certificate, the government procurement department immediately knows that they have come to the right place.

In practice, there is often simply not enough time or capacity in house to "sit down" to look at and apply these SRI criteria. The Service Center can support you in determining whether your company meets the socially responsible print procurement criteria, advise you on how to meet the criteria, guide you towards individual certification or join the Service Center's Socially Responsible Purchasing Group.

Enter
Your consultant will guide you in translating the Environmental Criteria for Socially Responsible Purchasing and setting up your SRI system. You will be assured of an SRI system that meets the standard requirements while being specific to your company.
Maintain
After setting up the MVI system, it is important that you keep your system continuously updated. Your home consultant can take on the role of external coordinator without difficulty and will help you maintain your system.
Conducting audit
As a follow-up to this Sustainable Purchasing Certification, you will receive an Action Plan in which all relevant points of improvement are listed. It does not mean that you have to carry out all the actions, but the better you produce, the more points you score. This can ultimately lead to more orders. Organizing internal controls on this is the best stepping stone to certification.
Certify
You obtain the certificate after a positive external audit conducted by a certifying body. We can assist you with the external audit and thus with obtaining an SRP certificate.
